Event Description: The AARP Tax-Aide program will again offer free tax assistance and preparation for taxpayers in Woodford County with low and middle income with special attention to those age 60 and older. You do not need to be a member of AARP or a retiree to use this service. Tax preparation is being done in the Gallery Room of the Library and continue every Thursday and Saturday from 9:15 am-noon through April 15. (No tax service on April 3.) Taxpayers are to bring their proof of identity, Social Security card as well as for all dependents being claimed, copies of all W-2, 1098, 1099 forms, and last year's tax return or any other items relevant to the preparation.
